Questions
How does the free trial work?
Pro and Pro + Self-File start with 14 days free. You add a card at checkout and are charged when the trial ends. Cancel before then from Settings and you pay nothing.
Is the wallet really free?
Yes. Opening an ExactSplit Wallet, getting paid into it, and moving money in and out cost nothing from ExactSplit. Whop, which provides the wallet, may charge its own fees for some transfers and card payments; they are shown before you confirm. ExactSplit is not a bank.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Any time, from Settings. Moving up (Pro to Self-File or Business) takes effect immediately and is prorated. Cancelling keeps your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Who handles payment?
Dodo Payments is our merchant of record. It charges your card, handles sales tax or VAT, and appears on your statement. We never see your card number.
I'm an accountant. How does the firm plan work?
Your practice dashboard is free. On the firm plan you cover your clients' Pro: $49 a month includes 5 clients, then $12 per client per month. Clients you cover never see a bill.
Is this tax advice?
No. ExactSplit is software that estimates from your own records. Use the figures with your preparer, or check them before you file yourself.
